| Question: What are the system requirements for R2BMI? |
| Answer: R2BMI requires Cpanel running x or x2 themes (we will add more theme options shortly) Your server must be running php 4.3 or higher and you will need a mysql database for installation. |
| Question: I've seen several WP installer programs, but they all require cpanel. I'm on a unix/linux server, no cpanel. Will it work for me? |
| Answer: We do have an option that can be used on non-cpanel hosts, this option will require you to enter the database information and use the option for "predefined database" for wordpress. If you are building blogger blogs there is no cpanel requirement.
You can still build multiple wordpress blogs with this "predefined database option" but it will just use that one database for all of your blogs by giving each blog a unique table name within the database. So the short answer is yes it can be used without cpanel but it will not be able to create subdomains or databases for you. After you supply the database the blog building process is automated. |
| Question: Does the wordpress installer create subdomains? And if so does it create Wordpress on other domains outside of the installed domain? In other words not limited to the installed domain or by server? |
| Answer: Yes R2BMI will create blogs on subdomains for you. It is not limited to any domain. You only need to install it once and it will create blogs across all of your domains. |
